Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day took place on 25th May. We began the day with an inspirational assembly, as we were joined by Para Olympian Rachel Morris.

The children were enthralled by her story of triumph over adversity when she thought her dreams of becoming an Olympic sprinter were shattered . She explained  how sport has not only maintained her physical strength but has also played a vital role in her mental health during difficult times.

In the afternoon, pupils, staff and parents gathered on the field for our annual extravaganza of running, jumping, throwing and of course, starball. Congratulations to Blue Team who are the 2018 champions.
